The building complex is located in the beautiful ancient village of Capistrano (prov.AQ ) situated on a hill 500 m. above sea level, overlooking the Tirino River Valley, by the clear waters rich in trout, with its vineyards of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and the hilly almond groves.
Its territory covers an area of 4308 ha of which in 2521 included in the scope of the Gran Sasso National Park and Monti della Laga.
The country is on the road from L'Aquila in Bussi sul Tirino (11 KM from the exit of ' highway Rome - Pescara, which is 63 km away, and a short distance from the ski slopes. One country that offers all the basic necessities (bank services, pptt, schools, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, and shops).
The complex, originally of the barons de Julis, in ARCO DE JULIS street, constitutes an "element" major historical center of Capistrano system and an "emergency highly significant" of the "skyline" seen from the valley.

The complex consists of two buildings constructed in different eras: the first is of the XV-XVI centuries, the second is of the XVII-XVIII century; the two buildings are connected by a smaller and set back part of the building - which also includes the family chapel dedicated to Santa from Lima - which overlooks the large courtyard in stone, where there are interesting episodes architectural and sculptural as the old well, the terraces, the large porch, terraces, all in stone. The main floor of the palace is in part habitable. Much of eighteenth-century unity was restored and consolidated with the re-roofing, restoration of the facades with special care of the architectural elements in stone (timpani of the windows and balconies, balustrades, coats of arms ..), and the restoration of the original terracotta floors, the wooden ceilings, the fixtures, interior decor (stone fireplaces, exhibitions doors ..), while the oldest part (1400/1500) has been established and is to be restored in the interior. The complex is completed by a cellar, dug into the rock, with access from the arcaded way along the ancient walls.
The complex is part of the priority work program in the course of Abruzzo Region (Scope 1 Reconstruction Plan Medieval Village) for its historical and monumental value, (officially is considered one of the two prestigious buildings in the historic core) and to complete and integrate the consolidation and the interior and exterior renovation.
