The Organic Farm "Mill" is located in Borgo Val di Taro, Parma Apennines at an altitude of 650 m, Varacola on the creek, along the ancient route of communication Borgo Val di Taro-Bardi. The current building was constructed in 1850 on an existing building undated.
A bridge, probably Roman, connects the two banks of the river near the mill.
Strictly organic crops, which are made in small farm are in limited quantity but high quality cereals, vegetables, fruits etc. .. They are raised in a natural way cattle, sheep (suffolk) and farmyard animals. The company owned by the family Cresci, practice the direct sales of its products and leases periodically, such as Holiday, the tourists, the old mill.
The families here guests can enjoy a relaxing holiday in contact with nature, regaining pace of life simple and rewarding. The stream Varacola, even in summer, provides water for children to play and adults to relax. The wood-burning oven behind the house, can cook food according to the ancient traditions of World Farmer. The layered rocks of the Mesozoic era, which rises steeply from the river and dominates the south side of the house, gives the classic landscape of the Apennines, a unique feature. The apartments are complete with all facilities, are rented for weekend, but also for longer periods.
The organic farm offers as a holiday home (SHORT LETS), the Old Mill. The building restored to its original design, lies on the bank of a small stream, near the old bridge. There are two apartments, seven rooms (for a total of sixteen beds), a kitchen and a large basement.
