Recanati is located on top of a hill, whose crest is almost flat, at 296 m above sea level, between the valleys of the rivers Potenza and Musone. The Adriatic Sea, beyond which when the air is clear you can see the mountains of Dalmatia, is about ten kilometers east of the city. To the north is visible Mount Conero which is lost in the waters and the other sides of the city, not closed or restricted by next elevations, you can see the peaks of the Apennines. The tops of the Sibillini Mountains with Mount Carrier and more on Mount San Vicino, the Witch and the Catria are clearly visible. Like other centers of Marche, Recanati is also the typical "city balcony" for the broad view that you can see: cities and villages are scattered in large numbers in the wide expanse, between floors, valleys and hills.

The cottage is located in the district Chiarino in the middle of the pleasant Recanati countryside.
