The province of Bergamo is the third largest city in Italy for municipal subdivisions, in fact has about 243 municipalities. The activities to be carried out in this province are of the most varied: whether you are a lover of nature or the cities and its historic centers does not matter, this province has everything you need. Below I'll tell you about the most interesting places from the point of view of tourism and real estate:
- One of the most beautiful places in the province of Bergamo is the homonymous capital, in fact, Bergamo. This city is all to be discovered and has a structure typical of ancient villages located in a hilly or mountainous area. Bergamo is made up of the Lower Town and the Upper Town. The latter is the oldest part of the city and is characterized by cobbled streets, historic buildings and monuments that recall ancient times. Access to the Upper Town is possible in three ways: by car, but up to a certain point as there is a need for special permits; on foot from the Lower Town; through the funicular, an experience to be lived. The lower town is the most modern part of the city. The possibilities of buying a property in Bergamo are the most varied, not only in the city, but also in the extreme vicinity.
- Another very suggestive area in the province of Bergamo is Trezzo sull'Adda, suitable above all for those who love history, natural parks and "adrenaline" experiences. An experience that I recommend you to live with your family is a day at "Leolandia", an amusement park especially suitable for children, but full of shows and shows for people of all ages. If, on the other hand, parks are not for you, but history is definitely your passion, then you should know that in this area there are various religious (historical) buildings including the mausoleum of the Crespi family and the Sanctuary of Concesa, which is surrounded by a landscape that leaves you speechless. From the real estate point of view it is very easy to find a property and there are opportunities for all needs. The starting price is about 100,000 € and the properties that you can buy are of all types and sizes.
- The last city I want to talk to you about, for its national importance is the city of Lovere, a real "place to be". In 2003 it was awarded the title of "The most beautiful village in Italy". The writer Lady Mary Wortley Montagu said about the city "the most romantic place I have ever seen in my life. Visiting this city is a must, also there are several opportunities to find a property in Lovere, the prices are varied, but we start from a base of about 100,000 €. In its vicinity there are various nature reserves and vantage points, one of the most interesting is Monte Isola, the largest lake island in Europe. In short, as you may have guessed, it is an area that deserves to be discovered and experienced.
Come to the province of Bergamo, you will live unique experiences in contact with nature and I'm sure, you'll love it!
