Bari

The province of Bari is what was historically called "Land of Bari" and that, until recently, also embraced the municipalities of Fasano and Cisternino (now under the province of Brindisi). 
This province can be defined not only as the "land of the Trulli", but also the province of the sea, of the historical centers and of the long excursions. The evocative places of the territory of Bari are really many, important also from the point of view of real estate, today I will try to tell you about the main ones: 

- It is impossible that you have never heard of the wonderful city of Polignano a Mare, at least once in your life. Especially in recent years this town has gained great visibility thanks to the world championship of diving that is organized every summer, the event is called "Red Bull Cliff Diving" and every year manages to "collect" hundreds of thousands of people from all over Puglia (and beyond). Historically, moreover, the city of Polignano has been associated to the singer Domenico Modugno, a musical icon of our country and the city (there is in fact a big statue of him). Polignano lives on tourism, now thanks to a series of events for the Christmas period, and lives mainly by sea. The experiences to be done in a day are really the most disparate and I'm sure they will leave you speechless. The opportunities to buy a property in Polignano are not many, but if your idea was to buy one, know that the average price is about 500,000 €. 

- Are you a lover of seaside towns? Of those big and full of life? Bari is the place for you! Like all big cities, the experiences you can have (even a little out of the ordinary) are really many and it all depends on your personal interests. In recent years, the famous beach of Pane e Pomodoro is animated by lovers of the sea and sports of all ages, who very often are to spend some 'time together, in short, a real form of fun at no cost. Last year's novelty is the large Ferris wheel installed on the seafront, which has attracted thousands of people not only from Bari, but also from various parts of Puglia. Bari, however, is also a city rich in history and monuments, museums and basilicas that are worth a visit. For historical importance, I would like to bring you to know the Basilica of St. Nicholas, very important for Bari as it contains the bones of the saint, patron saint of the city. This basilica is a major tourist attraction for the city. Buying a property in Bari (or nearby) is really very easy, thanks to a wide range of choice (two-roomed, three-roomed, trulli, etc.). The prices are the most varied, however, we start from a base of 150,000 €. 

- Are you a lover of small historic centers? Of those that seem made to measure and that for this reason seem to be almost enchanted? Do you like to live in the midst of nature? There is a place in the province of Bari called Locorotondo, which will be able to kidnap you, you should know that it is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. This city lives on tourism and everything that nature can give to those who are able to listen. The first thing I would recommend is an excursion into the city: the white walls, the houses of the past and the balconies full of flowers of all colors, can create a truly unique atmosphere, full of magic. The beauty of this place is also inherent in the surrounding countryside, full of vineyards and wineries that offer food and wine experiences of all kinds. The real estate landscape is very wide, finding a property in Locorotondo is easy (trulli), starting from an average price of 200,000 €. 

The province of Bari manages to make you live a different Apulia, very far from that of the collective imagination and for this reason it is worth discovering it to the end.
